Tigers Dominate Central Highlands Rep Squad

Tigers have been rewarded with a strong 2013 and a good start to 2014 with 9 players named in the Central Highlands representitive side to play 47th Batallion Carnival held at Gladstone. 5 players were also named in the U20’s squad. Tigers Captain Henry Watkins has withdrawn through a knee injury sustained in the first 15 mins of the 1st round clash against Clermont Bears. Henry’s sister also a Tiger has been named to represent the Capras Representitive squad at the same carnival. Ryan Home was also named from Tigers but has since relocated.

The Central Highlands squad is one of the strongest is recent times. The boys will leave on Friday the 9th of May and spend a few hours in Bluff for a training run and presentation of their Rep gear. They will then head to Gladstone Friday afternoon and rest up for a big day Saturday.

The Tigers would like to wish all of the Representitives good luck at the carnival.
