Tigers come up short in Grand Final

In a game that had everything the Tigers had to play catch up footy after being down 18-4 at the break. With good football on display but the Emerald boys couldn’t get the rub of the green. With a penalty count 17-4 possesion was a killer. The game eventually finished with the Bears holding their lead to go onto be winners 26-20.

Tigers said goodbye to stalwart Joe Mahony after he retired on Saturday. But not without kicking the final goal of the match. The crowd was fantastic with alot of Emerald locals making the trip over to rival the home Clermont crowd in numbers.

In a season that saw alot of success for both Mens and Ladies teams, 2014 is looking very bright for the Tigers. Our support from the general community, sponsors, family and friends of the Tigers have blossomed in recent years and we hope to continue this form.

So untill 2014 have a great break before pre-season and we will have updates soon when we confirm sponsors that have re-signed with us for 2014.
